These threads follow my previous three threads on the Galapagos Islands. Leaving Galapagos, we flew to Guayaquil, Ecuador and then on to Lima, Peru for a brief overnight stay. Next morning, after a weather delay, we flew to Cusco, the ancient Inca Capitol. The city has around 400,000 residents and is situated at 11,400 feet above sea level.

From Cusco, we traveled to the Sacred Valley with stops along the way, first at an Alpaca and Llama farm.

The next two nights we had luxurious lodging at the Sol & Luna resort in the Urubamba Valley. We were able to watch the Super Bowl on a guest's laptop computer connected to his satellite receiver in Los Angeles through the internet and Slingbox:

This is exactly the reason I "got into" photography - to take marvelous photos of places I travel to. I love a good travel story, and this one is top notch. I really enjoyed these! (and your previous travelogues, too).

Amazing pictures. Thanks for sharing these.

Many thanks! But I don't really think they are amazing . Maybe the scenery is.

Thanks. I will look up your travel threads.

I see you are in Greensboro. My son and his family live there and we get down there fairly often. Of course there my camera is trained on the three grandchildren!

Nicely done! The first and last photos are especially nice!

Thanks a lot. Those two are sized to the maximum allowed by the Cafe.

Beautiful photos!!! Love to stay at Sol & Luna!

It was gorgeous. Probably priced higher than we would have chosen, but it was included in this tour.

Aren't they though!

My pleasure! Maybe tomorrow.
