My name is Nancy, and I haven't shot a cat pic since July 7.
But it was a lazy afternoon and I got the itch to break out the ol' AIS 50...

My enablers, Pae (tabby) and Verbal (orange), all at 1.4

(Hey Nikon, where's that AFS 50?)
  2. Sweeeet shots Nancy, nice!

Nice shots. I really got a kick out of the yawn shot.

Thanks, Frits and Art. Gotta love the wrinkled nose in a yawn!
  5. How sweet is that? I need to get some more cat pics!

They look very HUGGABLE, Nancy, so you captured their images well!
  7. Cute cats! And you photograph them very well (I have a lot to learn!).

    They look so irresistible.

Thanks, Philippe. Hard drives are cheap; you can't have too many cat pics!

Did I, or does the camera lie? They are indeed huggable, and occasionally sweet. At least Verb is good with the innocent look.

Thanks, Kristin. I'm sure they think they're beyond irresistible, whatever that might be!

Keep at it, and you'll get the bonus of them getting used to the camera. One of my favorite Pae shots is with a 15mm fisheye practically touching his nose. I've been shooting my cats since I got my first pair in 1984.

Love this lens Nancy, sweeeeet cats and sweeeet pics! :)
  10. Great pics of the furry family. My guy runs when I get the camera out, maybe he thinks it a big eye, who knows?

I very much like the first capture - good work!
  12. Nancy, I'm sure the itch was caused from the cats:biggrin: and not the ais 50.:smile:

OK cat people I am just kidding.

    Loved the shots!

Wonderful cat shots. My kitty just won't stay still. I have managed to capture her when she is asleep, but after a few shutter clicks, she is off.
