Since it's been hot ( around 110F every day),I got up early to meet my
yard hummers for the last a few days.
At 7 a.m.,my arm already started to sweat and I finished shooting by
10 a.m. Not really productive days but
I got some descent shots. I just ordered a Wimberley sidekick and
I'm hoping it'll help me to track the hummer's movement smoothly.

Tell me which one is your favorite shot.

All of them are fantastic. If you really want me to pick a favorite, it is #3. I agree with the above post. Composition, color, and pose are just great.

I keep giving my fingers a work out scrolling back and forth - I almost can't say which one I like best because they're all beautiful! If I could have 1 on my wall, I'd pick either #2 or #3. Dunno why, but I keep going to those 2. Maybe it's the color, background, dunno......Keep on shootin!

Benjamin,Louis,Pia, Linda,Rich,Diann,

Thanks for looking and your kind words.
I've been preparing for my first major hummer photo shoot
in AZ since the beginning of the year and in just 4 more weeks
I'm going to AZ. I'll be able to show you some rare hummer shots
from AZ possibly in Sep. Till then,my yard hummer,Costa's,is the only
hummer I can photograph.

Hide, They are all wonderful, I can't decide on 2 or 3, so I'll just have to vote for both. Your little Costa's are beautiful. We have mostly Anna's in the El Cajon area. I see a few black chinned every now and then. I envy your trip to AZ. I know you will have a wonderful time.

Hide, these are all fantastic shots! If I had to pick a favorite, it would be #3 because it looks like the 'classic' hummingbird pose. Love your work!
