Doesn't look any different than most fixed focal length lenses, which is normal. It's great to see Nikon adding to its DX arsenal.

So, if this is truly a DX-only lens, will anyone want to try it on a FF body?

WHAT?! I kind of like it, but...no distance scale? Where did that go?

I am trying to find Nikon's MTF charts for 35/2 so I can compare them against ones for 1.8 and I can not find them. Does anybody know where they can be found? Thanks in advance!

7 blades and not 9?? one negative, no ED glass, negative.. This lense should be priced under 300 dollars.. Id be more interested in the 1.4 version. If the price is right, then i see it as a good buy. But the fact of 7 rounded blades and no ED glass, it should be cheap

What do these tell you about the lenses? I always wondered and never knew how to read them. It would be nice to know.
