I've had this lens for about two weeks. I haven't used it much, but I really like it. Thanks especially to Uncle Frank and Edward Neal's posts regarding what they thought of this lens, I decided to buy it. The pictures aren't that great, but I know with a little practice, I can get some excellent results out of the lens. I need to keep in mind how shallow the depth of field is and the distance I am from the subject. The picture of my Daughter-in-Law and my grandson proves that. The way she was holding him, his face was a few inches further from the camera than her's, his face isn't in very good focus. My fault, not the camera or lens. Thanks to all for the things I've learned by reading the posts here on Nikon Cafe.

  2. Ciao Doc
the pictures are much better than you think of! Aside any mistake, colour rendition and 3D effect are well evident here.
    enjoy it! All the best.
