Pied Billed Grebe ~ Haverhill, MA

This bird is important to me, not only because it's a beautiful and interesting little individual, but morose because it and it's mate are nesting on the wetlands that the City of Haverhill drained last year. It therefore offers more photographic evidence for my fight to keep this place alive.

The following are simple shots...four of the grebe, one sparrow at sunset and a phoebe, all shot within 50' of one another over a couple of different days:
