  1. Yes, they are beauties. Is this near your home so you can see a lot more of him?
  2. Very nice. I find they are so hard to capture, the downy around here are just so active.
  3. Nice capture. I've seen them doing a fly-by across my property, but they never stopped by so that I can grab a shot.

  5. Sal - Nice capture. I know it is hard to get a good picture of a Pileated Woodpecker and I think you did a great job.

    I have not been able to get a picture of one yet. We have some that occasionally show up in our neighborhood and at our house. When they light on a tree it seems to be only for a second or two.
