Pipes. Which image do you like?

Pipes. Which image do you like? Or maybe none. I had lots of options when cropping. From two flat bed cars, separated by perhaps 20 feet, but in line.

Nikon FM, 50mm F1.4, Ilford HP5+.

The first 3 framed as a triptych would be awesome.

If I had to pick just 1, it would be #1; it's more mysterious, the vertical aspect is very strong.

Thanks Nick. I thought #1 was a little better. Good suggestion, never thought about a triptych.

Great looking b&w image.
#2 is a great abstract.

I'm wondering if #2 wouldn't benefit from removing the parts of the pipes that are outside the image completely.
The same perhaps for #1. That or include more of them, suggesting an infinite repeating pattern.

The car with the pipes is a valuable image in itself, I think.

Thanks Bart. Including more of the pipes at the split would fit nicely into the suggestion from Nick for a triptych. Could make three equal vertically sized parts that coulld split the pipes.

And one for the train. I like old rusty trains myself, although this is a modern working car.
