Pipes. Which image do you like? Or maybe none. I had lots of options when cropping. From two flat bed cars, separated by perhaps 20 feet, but in line.

Nikon FM, 50mm F1.4, Ilford HP5+.

#1 for me as well from the first 3, Ron.
Great looking b&w image.
#2 is a great abstract.

I'm wondering if #2 wouldn't benefit from removing the parts of the pipes that are outside the image completely.
The same perhaps for #1. That or include more of them, suggesting an infinite repeating pattern.

The car with the pipes is a valuable image in itself, I think.

Thanks Bart. Including more of the pipes at the split would fit nicely into the suggestion from Nick for a triptych. Could make three equal vertically sized parts that coulld split the pipes.

Also like #1 best of the first lot
Thank you. #1 seems to be leading the vote.

The one I like is the pipes on the lorry.

I hear the pipes a-playin', #1 for me, too!

#2 pulls me into it. I also like the image with the train.

Too close to call...but, #1 seems definitely a little ahead! Good eye!

#2, i like the composition, kind of pulls my eye into the center.

Thanks everyone. Close between #1 and #2. I also like #1 best.
