  2. Nice series well taken.
I especially like the Piper Pawnee towing the glider.
    I think the aircraft are
    DeHavilland Chupmunk x3
    Pawnee towing Slingsby?
Dont know the one with red TL on the tail
    Muskateer with wheel pants
    222 I dont know
Thruster Sprint because it says so. Thats a weird looking kite...

Thanks Gale...It went right over my head!..Mind you I did hop over a fence and sat at the end of the runway(in safety)..

  6. Nice pix from the UK; FYI:
    The motor-glider "TL" is a Grob 109,
    "G-EDGA" is a Piper PA28 Cherokee/Warrior,
The "222" looks like a Grumman Cheetah but the tail isn't quite right so... ? :)

  7. yer not wrong.

    Ya, it is a Cherokee.

Great shots one of my favorite things to look at . Scott I think it is a Grumman A1 2 seater.

  10. Yup you're right, I forgot about that one. The Yankee didn't have the big dorsal like the others did.

  11. interesting photos - nice series
