.. and another reason to head up to the lake. Can't see this in the city - too many houses and trees blocking the horizon. I've got a great clear view of the eastern horizon at the lake. Looks like May 30th is going to be the prettiest setup with the sliver of moon. Thanks so much for sharing this!

I heard about this at the start of the year, and was meaning to look out for it. I can't really get up early at sunrise because I'll just be knackered for work, so perhaps on the weekend I'll see if I can spot them.

Got up early to get a shot of the planets and it was good of the Planet Gods to put name tags on them.

Mars was to small to see, i'm sure some with longer lenses will get better shots
