Played the ponies last Sat (5 pics)

Went to Tampa Bay Downs for Florida Derby Day last sat, and captured these images. After that we made some $2 bets. Won 5 times, but still lost $20. Still a fun day. All shot w/D70/28-200G.

Reminds me of when I was a little girl and I used to go the horses with my father, uncle and grandfather. It was sully racing though.

My kids were arguing about whether the 2nd shot, the "down the stretch" shot was at the end of the race or the beginning. Who knows, I took so many!
One thing I learned about playing the ponies, is that I don't know a damn thing about playing the ponies!

Used to go to the geegees a lot when younger and worked with racehorses for a while - they're all mad (horses and people)

You've given me the inspiration to go and try shooting them one day.
