Playing with B&W - Dumb idea??

    My skin is thick :biggrin:

    You may ask, "What the...are you thinking!??!?!"

    Well, trying to zone in (or maybe I'm zoning out?) on the idea of an action portrait. Rather than recording the event, the winning play, or whatever, just a nice capture of someone's kid doing what they love.

    I welcome any suggestions.

    Note, if anyone is interested, the "digital frame" was done in Elements and is a very crude feature. The different relative frame widths are caused by the size of the picture you begin with. For everything to look the same, I'd have to resize the pics to the same pixel dimensions.

    I reckon too, sportriats in B&W look great, these do too

    I think it's a great look. I also feel it adds drama to the photo.

    Thanks so much for the feedback and encouragement. I guess I'll give it a go this fall and see if it sells.
