Here is a picture that I got during mrsollars' wedding. I just grabbed the fisheye and thought I would try to snap this picture for fun. The flash attached to this camera didnt fire due to the batteries being dead.
Therefore it is HORRIBLY underexposed.

any photoshop gurus want to take a shot at this one for me?
I can get decent results but they are just WAY WAY too noisy

it doesnt help that the image is out of focus either i guess...
whoops

it can be download here

This is terrible. Best I can do at the moment.
This is a job for Peano, Ray or the other gurus at DPR retouch

It is fixable......But I am far from a guru on this stuff.
I prob could have done a touch better if Capture 4.4.2 would open D80 pics.
So I did the conversion in ACR 3.7 PSCS2
I tried with bibble pro and nx .
Bibble did pretty good. But really am not profecient on that prog.

So lets see who can come to the rescue

Here's my try...it's not as light as Gale's...she did a much better job on the WB that I did...but I don't know what the church actually looked like...

Got a lemon? Make lemonaide.

I've never been very happy with my feeble attempts to "fix" OOF images. But once in a while I find one that can be salvaged by "Photoshoping" it into a different kind of image. If a "far out" representation of your subject works for you, something like this might help:

Anyway, maybe you can get an idea from these.

Don't ask what I did because I don't even think I remember. I think I used 4 different programs, noise reduced 4 times and sharpened 3. All in all, it doesn't look horrible.

PS. It's noisy, but I think it looks worse on screen than on a print. Especially if you don't print too big.

If I knew why I couldn't open Blake's file, I could probably figure out a way to open it. But I don't, so I can't.

I'm using CS2, and when I try to open the download, it treats it as a TIFF and opens a 120x160 pixel thumbnail. I can't open it as a NEF file.

Just delete the .NEF.txt part of the name, then add .NEF to the end. The computer will warn you about changing the extension, but do it anyway. Then open it with ACR as it is now a regular NEF file. Here is what I did:
