I saw that too on strobist. They do look way less robust than their PW counterparts , not to mention that PWs have been there quite a while so we know they're up to the task ... You get what you pay for I guess.

your right, i picked them for theyre battery life, durability, range, and basically the fact that i dont have to worry.
