Captive wildlife photography practice continues. Spent Saturday with the missus at the zoo for their Creature Comforts day. Basically the public gets to see demonstrations of the various enrichment activities that the keepers do with the animals. Just a few shots from the day. Camera was Nikon D200 with 80-200mm f/2.8 lens. No tripod, no post-processing except for resizing (oh, wait...the tiger shot was cropped but only to shrink down for another board).

Critiques welcomed and encouraged. These looked a bit brighter on my computer at home than they do here at the office.

Very nice set Don. They look a tad dark on my monitors here also, but they are far from properly calibrated. Have to check them out again when I get home.

Beautiful animals.
Need som tweaking in PP.

WB is a tad off as well.
All this stuff is so hard to learn. Lots of time and practice.

Ok, it must be something with my monitor....I dunno. Took the shots over to my photo-mentor's house and pulled them up on his Mac (nice HUGE monitor) and they looked fine.

I hate computers....really, I do....too finicky.
