Pond Lily

Discussion in 'Macro, Flowers, Insects, and Greenery' started by beaucamera, Jul 28, 2005.

  1. Here's a shot of a pond lily I took today with my 70-200 VR, which is back from Nikon after a "class c" focus issue repair. When I updated my website today, I also added a gallery called "Signs" and a new abstract called "Undulations of a Rose." You'll find my "pond lily" and links here:

Very nice Lily Virginia. I like your Rose abstract also.

  3. Very nice Virginia. I have always liked pond lillies and you have captured this one well.

  4. Nice Water Lily Virginia, how did you get the whites so perfect?

  5. Thanks Frank, Gordon and Martin. The trick on balancing the whites, Martin, was a couple of successful PSCS2 curve adjustments on the RAW file. I'd show you but I can't seem to put a screen shot into this message. (alt prtscreen..doesn't seem to work...?)
