Poor mans 500 & 600

    Things are starting to pick up here in the mid-west and we sure are ready for it
    D300&300 VR with 2X TC




    Next 3 shots were with the 300 VR and 1.7 TC

    Stunning shots Tim, I didn't get a good Egret like you did the other day.

    that 2X can sing on the 300VR can't it buddy, but the operator has most to do with the combo's success.

    glad to see someone else is putting the 2x to great use. There are alot of people who say its not very good but as you have demonstrated, in the right hands and with a great lens, its a very capable performer.
