Poppies!

    Drove past this bunch of Poppies growing at the entrance to someone's drvieway. When I got 2 miles away, I knew I just had to go back and snap these! They're so...............ORANGE!

    Steve, these are great! The bright orange really pops against the deep green background. You composed it well too....Thanks for sharing...well done!

    Thanks Folks,

    it was definitely worth the return trip! These are the 1st Poppies I remember seeing up close like this. Glad the owner of them was ok with me parking in her driveway to shoot them. She was actually flattered.

    I did cheat a *little* by cloning out a few grey spots. I think the blossoms were a few days past their perfect prime.
