Porec, Croatia at sunset

  1. Here is one from recent vacation:

    D80 with sigma 70-200, ISO 1400, f/3.5, 1/20" handheld.
  2. Nice calming evening shot with great reflections in the water. Wondering why you decided to have so much sky? Gives it a different effect / mood that I can't quite describe.

    Those white spots in the upper left sky, are they stars?
  3. Yes, I wanted those early stars in the picture. That explains the framing. Due to compression it looses a bit of effect, though. Thanks for looking.
  4. Thought I would do a little PP on this (hope you don't mind!).

    I darkened the sky, lightened the buildings and sharpened the whole image. I was trying to bring the sky in with the stars by darkening it. Oh ya, I added some stars!
