Portfolio shoot from today

[The Ben]

I met Tracy at the OneLight workshop back in November. She's a photographer/graphic designer. Out of all the people and all the pics of her at the workshop, she loved mine even though the same pic was taken over and over again.

So a few weeks back, she asked me to take some portfolio pics for her since she was changing up her website soon. So today, we braved the cold and took 2 hours or so taking pictures. Let me know what you guys think.

Great series! I can definitely see both artists working here. 9 and 11 stood out over the others for me. What lens did you use? I really like the shallow depth of field.

the 85 1.4, and 95% of the pics were shot @ f/1.4... even the ones w/ strobes (19-23).

In shooting this portfolio work did you have a particular potential client or type of client in mind that made you shoot the images to captured, use the wardrobe you used, process the images in the manner processed, use the depth of field you used, etc?

Sorry Walter, I should've been a little more specific in my original post.

This wasn't for my portfolio, it was hers. She's a local photographer that shoots strictly film and wanted some quick portfolio pics to revamp her website. She had asked me a while back to take the pics, but we didn't have any time until yesterday.

Hope that clears it up.
