Featured Portobello Beach - Edinburgh

  1. The clouds looked to be favourable over the Firth of Forth this morning so I popped down to Portobello beach for a few minutes to make some long exposure photographs.

    D810 - 24-70 2.8 - Nisi V5 holder and polariser - Nisi 6 stop ND - Nisi 3 stop soft grad.

  6. Leading lines done very well! But boy--the tension of the diagonals is powerful!

    Just a thought - I wonder if blurring the sea further would add more to the tranquil atmosphere? It could of course also end up being too much then...
  14. Thank you :). Maybe I should have used a 10 stop ND in place of the 6 stop (or both) to smooth the water movement out more, next time ;)
