So after dodging monsoons for a few weeks I managed to get up Mount Lemmon to do a photo shoot to welcome my newest family member with a "portrait" session, car mag style:

I have to say, I didn't bring a color target with me and getting the orange of the car to show up properly was a bit of a challenge to say the least. I know it's a lot of photos, but it was a fun shoot.

Thanks,

Dave

Oooh, oooh, what a beauty!!!!! Orange, too -- wow!!!! These are terrific shots and what a marvelous environment for showing off your new family member!!! Have you given her a name yet? :)
Mount lemon is always a great place to do car photos. As for a name, it's Gwendolyn. They're always Gwendolyn. No idea why at this point. I think it started as a joke years ago.

If you have never driven on the track before- you will have a BLAST. First drivers have such a smile, they can eat a banana sideways. I instructed for Porsche and several private clubs for about 15 years.
I am thrilled you will use this beautiful car the way it was meant to be used.
An old saying: A ship in the harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.

Gary, you are so right. They are meant to be driven. I've been tracking my cars for years and given what I've felt just on those twisty mountain roads, I cannot wait to get to the track with this car.

"Gwendolyn".......I like that! A little different, that's for sure! Each of my cars that I've had through the years has had a name, always unique to that particular vehicle -- sometimes the car lets me know her name immediately, other times it has taken a while. My current modest little Honda Civic and I took a few days before finally it became apparent that her name is Celeste. Works for me, works for her! :D

Great car!
Nice photos too.
Did you happen to use a polarizing filter?

I once had a BMW 1600 named Jessica, a 912 named Rufus and a 911 SC called Talbot.
