Portrait - Something Different

Discussion in 'People' started by Jeff Fillmore, May 7, 2007.

  1. Different for me anyway- since my camera is in the shop I was going thru some old shots and experimenting with Photoshop a tad. This is a little more processed than usual for me so let me know what you think.

Layered color version over sepia and set to multiply.

Jeff, thats awesome. I like it alot, and I know a few others who will probably feel the same. I'm going to give that a try sometime.

Jeff, I like it too. I'll give your PS technique a try. Thanks for sharing.

Nice work Jeff. I love the processing, but can you brighten her eyes?

  6. That's a great shot - the processing reminds me a bit of Daniel Diaz's technique. It has some similarities, but it's very different at the same time - if that makes any sense.

  7. Thanks Fred & Keith-

Fred- I tried to lighten up her eyes a tad but even with a subtle adjustment to show a hint of detail they just looked overly processed to me- kind of glowing or something. I didn't even save that version.

Here is the original for comparison...
