The rest of day 3 I spent in Lisbon.

What a great idea saving this until now---the perfect cure for dark winter blues :)

I know what you mean about Iberico ham--my son can get it in Salt Lake City, and it has become a family tradition at thanksgiving, along with a 10-15 year-old white Rioja! :joyful::smug: He did bring some up for Christmas this year, to compete with the dry-cured Tennessee ham we were having.

What a great collection of pictures. Thanks!

Mmmmmhhh...
Have you ever gone through about 8,000 pictures Nick?
That's the reason I'm so late.

But thank you, for suggesting for feature one too

Yes, but only for photos captured during several trips, not just one trip!
Thank you Mike.
Most were pictures of Nazaré with waves and surfers. I took serial shots there.
All in all about 4,000 pictures. And the result - about 50 survived.

I'm planning to buy a Nikon F4(S) to shoot 1 or 2 rolls of film every three months.
Just to bring me down on Earth by releasing the shutter...

Happy new year and all the best to you and your family

Wonderful work Klaus, fascinated with Nazare and the size of the waves they get when storms come through. Really enjoyed your images taken at night. Especially #9 and #10 surprised by the low iso but the exposures look spot on to reflect the ambiance of the scene. Wonderful work, makes me want to visit.
Thanks

Thanks for the great captures from one of my favorite places!

Everywhere you turn in Lisbon is photo waiting to be shot.
