You have all posted some wonderful photos. I would post some of mine but they would be "upsetting" to some. Seems where I live we are over populated, greatly, with these pest rodents. They damage our homes and reproduce at an astounding rate. So, some of my photos the little devils are...shall we say...motionless. The coyotes come by at night and "pick them up" so to speak, so they get recycled. Nothing in nature should go to waste. Seriously, our neighborhood gets over run by these things! We just have to help Mother Nature keep things in proper balance.
But the pictures are great!!

The "Squirrel" family, Sciuridae, in addition to tree squirrels, includes flying squirrels, chipmunks, ground squirrels, prairie dogs and even marmots (eg Woodchuck).
