Though I gave my Mac to my wife, I am simply amazed at how well it still runs after 76 days...it runs just like it did 76 days ago...I have to say, Apple has Microsoft beat on this one! You will see the load averages are not that high...indication of it low usage, but this computer is used everyday. The uptime would have been longer, but my wife rebooted after an update that actually didnt even need a restart.

Man Low...I often forget about my SBS server...but I know for a fact it has not been up that long!!
  6. Sorry, but it's spelled Mac, as in Macintosh, not MAC.

And for those who do not know how to get their uptime, you open up the Terminal (Located in the Utilities folder) and type in Uptime (I think...I'm at work) and then hit the Return key.

I don't measure my uptime. I just take it for granted.

    Uptime inlcuding sleeping?

I know two years ago, for fun, I started my pismo G3 500 on the first day at work August 1, and didn't shut down until I turned it off for spring break.

so that was over 200 days, including running classic mode wtih 9.2 and 10.3.3 used every day for everything at work including PS, and tons of programs, switching networks, you name it I did it, most stable machine I ever had.

All with just 384 MB of memory

    Miss that laptop,
