I am still getting familiar with my new D300 and I had some time yesterday morning so I wanted to work on some of the tips I received last week from this forum.

I posted my first set of pictures last week and received some great feedback and suggestions which were very helpful.

I am looking for any comments or suggestions on these shots.

All shots were taken with the D300; 70-300vr, just some cropping and minor contrast adjustments in PP (really don’t know what I am doing with PP yet, I will work on that after I am more comfortable with the camera) I stayed away from the “P” mode and tried to open up the lens as much as possible.

Still a lot to work on but I am feeling more comfortable with the camera and have noticed an improvement with the pictures.

Thanks in advance for your comments

In the first shot I would crop tighter and remove the person walking. The rest look pretty good. The D300 rocks. Keep shooting. Sea Girt is a great place.

I found it interesting how the man in photo #8 resembles the bird in photo #10. The sea does seems to effect us all the same.

Nice images and thanks for sharing.
