  3. Technically very nice but composition could be improved by moving the flower right and up (at least for me - YMMV)

    Thanks Larry. It is a bit centered I know, but there was a lot of dead leafs and blossoms right below this bloom. I'll try playing with the crops.

  9. As long as it doesn't damage anything I'm not adverse to doing a bit of "landcaping) around floral subjects (or anything else for that matter). Mine are always wildflowers so I'm in habitats where I can find a stick to hold down some wayward grass, etc.. I carry tweezers and a a stiff little paintbrush to take care of dirt and cobwebs. Dead stuff I don't feel guilty about removing.
