Preventing internet connection while using Parallels

Discussion in 'PC/Windows/Linux' started by Rich Gibson, Jul 15, 2008.

  1. I switched over to the Mac over two years ago. Since then I have not found a DAM package which equals Thumbsplus, a Windows program. I have a parallels license and am pondering installing a windows partition to be able to run Thumbsplus.

I have no intention to use the Win partition for anything other than Thumbsplus. Would XPPro still work with Parallels or must I go to Vista? If I have to go to Vista which minimum version do you think will work with Parallels. Finally, and the most important, is there a way of locking down internet access on the parallels/Windows partition?

Yes, I know I can go to the Parallels website and I will, I was hoping someone might have the answer here.
