Prices...and marketing

  1. I know, I know, the ole "How much should I charge" question. I apologize.

I'm shooting for a local youth football league and I'm starting to get parents asking about prints.

What are some reasonable prices for prints?

I'd also like to know that if a parent wants their child photographed for the game, what's a reasonable fee for that also?

What are some cheap and easy marketing techniques you use (other than carrying a big camera and lens)?

Any info would be great folks!

No offense, but that depends on how good your prints are.

What are you shooting with, and do you have any samples?

    My charges

    5x7 $10
    8 x10 $20
    CD $100

I'm rationalising to only 8x10's and game CD's next season

I have not charged yet to actually rock up to a game by request, almost without exception these games have sold better as the parent requesting has done the marketing for me with the other parents first.
