I hope this is the right thread.
I have a Nikon d850 I have had some printing errors come back with low resolution. I have changed my export settings to 5000 pixels, 300 resolution, and these are jpeg files. On the camera I do raw and jpeg fine settings. When i want to print from shoot proof at 8x10 it gives me a low resolution

Are you certain that the exported files are of the dimensions and file size that you expect?

Files do not have a resolution, they just have a size.
What size are your present files? Most people aim for 240-300 dpi, so a 10" print needs a long side of 2400-3000pixels.

Your D850 has a native resolution of 8256 x 5504 pixels (45.4 MP)

If you a printing to a device that requires 300 ppi (Canon, HP, Fuji) then your print would measure 27.52” x 18.35”. Smaller from Epson as the requirement is 360 ppi

So your 5000 pixel would translate to a print measurement of 16.67” x ? For the other dimension.

So you should have bags of resolution for your needs
