Problem with Nikon Capture Trial Version

I installed the trial version or Nikon Capture so I could try out the Custom Curves. When I try to start NC I get a blue screen telling me that there was a problem and windows was shut down. I removed the software and downloaded it from the Nikon site. The same thing happens with it. Has anyone else had this problem. I'm running XP Home Edition.

There are some known issues when installing NC with WindowsXP SP2. There are several posts, and info at Nikonusa.com support.

I am at my office now. So I can't try it but that sounds like it will take care of my problem. My computer is the amd 64 also.
