Protective SHC parent

The babies were having fun on day 1 or 2 when the mom spotted another pair of SHC fly by. The pair landed near the edge of the pond and slowly started walking towards the nest. The parent on the nest got as low as he/she could. Its head was on the edge of the water as it sat on top of the babies. When the pair got too close it flew after the pair going totally wild, flapping its wings and squawking on loud as it could.
I was not able to get any pictures of the two in the air fighting (too much lens)
but it was a sight to see.
Here is a shot of the babies and two of the parent after it forced the others away.
