I first tried doing a search, and didn't find any info.
I haven't been keeping up with the latest PS developments, but I just watched the video examples on Adobe's website, and have to say, the new features do look very interesting.
What's the general consensus around here for CS3? Is it worth the upgrade cost, and does it make your workfow easier?

I hope it will be! I preordered the Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection because of the wide range of software from Premiere Pro for HD video, to Dreamweaver, Studio 8, PS3, etc. This package is set to ship in June. The Education discount is very generous, with photo ID, paycheck stub, etc proof required.

I have been wondering also. I have not seen enough to get the upgrade yet, but I will probably end up getting it. I think I'll jump on it when there is another 10 - 15% Adobe discount code (missed the last one).

If you are on the fence regarding CS3 - today's release of ACR 4.1 is worth it alone IMO.
Glad I saw your post Luke!

I've got my photo stuff (CS3, Printer, scanner, etc.) on a
different computer that isn't hooked up to the internet.
So I don't get update notices. The ACR is a big improvement
from CS2, And the 4.1 update Makes it even better!

Steve,
I know what you mean though. When is it going to be
good enough? When do you pull the plug and say, "I'm gonna make do".
I guess the guys in marketing are always going to have a carrot to
hold just out of reach...

To answer your question, Yeah I'm glad I upgraded.
But the next one will have to be pretty special.

Boy, doesn't that sound familiar?
"This will be the last Lens I'll need for awhile!..."
