Just got back from a couple weeks on the Shetland Islands. The Puffins were awesome!

  2. Hi James,

Puffins are always fun to watch and shoot! It looks like you were quite close to them. Nan & I were in the Shetland Islands last year but did not see any Puffins there, we saw them later in the trip, but in Iceland

Photos #2 & #3 are not showing up on my computer (Red X), please check your link.

I really love the second one. I think puffins are so beautiful.

  6. Three very nice shots, the expressions in the second one are great.

  7. All three are there now, very much worth fixing! I like the second one best, but the third was probably the hardest to capture.

Great little birds to shoot. The one in flight with the fish is excellent. I do like the flowers too. That is the wall shot.

  10. Awesome shots. That is one bird I would dearly love to shoot.

  11. Great photos! Those are some cool looking birds!

  12. For those in the States who wish to photograph these amazingly adorable creatures, there is a tiny islnad off of the coast of Maine that is home to literally thousands of them.

Outstanding tour operator and you are so close you can shoot them with normal lenses. I had by big glass with me, but many of my keepers were shot with a 28-70

  13. Those are just the coolest looking birds, great work indeed!
