Purple with a twist

  1. I took the d70 + 60 micro on yesterday's walk, and concentrated on purple flowers to add to my Spring Blossoms series.

    The 60 isn't supposed to be good for insects, but when a wee yellow beastie wandered into the frame, I had no choice but to shoot him. I was amused by the resemblance of his feeding posture to that of a hummingbird.
