Question for Paul / Zeiss guys

Discussion in 'Lens Lust' started by italy74, Aug 4, 2008.

  1. Just a question... what exactly your camera show (at least a D200) in the inner viewfinder when you have mounted a ZF lens? Does the display change (aperture, time) when you change the aperture on the lens? Does the camera show the new aperture? Any strange indicators lit? Just curious.

The D200 and above models will show the change in aperture. On the D300 and above, with live view, it shows more neat information on the back LCD screen, including digital aperture blades.

  3. Its just like a AF lens, diffrene being you turn the aperture ring instead of the front dial.

The VF data is just the same, to me at least. .-) (not that i have so many AF lenses to compare with lol)
