Question for Yves!

Hey Yves, are you anywhere near Ile Bizard? Have you heard about the Great Grey Owl invasion up there? Apparently they are just sitting around in droves waiting for photographers and birders to come and get them. C.Kling from dpreview keeps sending me photos but he can't post them anywhere. Its fantastic! Dying to get up there myself but don't see how I can do it...meantime, can you go there and take some wonderful photos for us to drool over?

here are the directions once you get to Ile Bizard: "Once on Ile Bizard, continue straight ahead, crossing Ch. Cherrier. A block later, take a left [west] on Boul. Chèvremont and drive to the T-intersection with De L'Égise and the parking area for the snowmobile trail.

By my count, just five simple turns should get you to the Great Gray
Owls. "

I am about 50 minutes from there ...

There are tons of them in Quebec this winter.

I am supposed to go shoot them (with a camera) this weekend.

I hope to get good shots

Well, first I'm jealous of the weather and birds in Florida. Now I get to be jealous of you and the Owls. And then we have this:
"I hope to get good shots", emphasis added for effect.

Now I "hope" for good shots, you just go out and NAIL them :lol: :lol:

lol, I still have to find them ... Since I am going solo ... I have 50/50 chances of spotting some ...
