Racing Greyhound Photos: Part 3

Discussion in 'Sports Photography' started by greyhound rick, Sep 10, 2008.

  1. Well, as the days become shorter the photographing of these racers becomes more challenging.

This first shot was taken in low daylight as the sun was behind the clouds...

This one was taken in very low light at night in the first turn...

These next ones are very heavily cropped and are very noisey....

    i really enjoy your threads
a bit of "noise" is NO BIG DEAL for this kind of shooting, in my eyes

  4. Here are a couple shots from late afternoon schooling at Phoenix Greyhound Park. These were taken Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008 just before heavy monsoon winds hit the area. It was very cloudy and low light which made for a challenging shoot!

Excuse the noise and low light in the photos....
