    It's been difficult to go out lately, since the rain seems to never give us a chance.

    Even so, I could grab a shot of this lonely flower.

    Thanks for the comment. I think it is a Gardenia, but I do not know for sure.

    I Liked the way the 300/2.8 rendered the background and the petals.

    By the way, I recently acquired a 105/2.5 AIS like yours and have been thrilled with the results. The lens is really wounderfull when coupled with the D2X.

  7. Wow! I like the predominant dark green background, the sharpness of the flower, the rain drop, and the overall lighting! Very well done indeed.

    Having the flower slightly off center might work well too, I think?
