Raptor Conservancy of Virginia bird display

    It was a lot of fun to see these birds up close. The guy showing them was very knowledgeable and answered eveyone's questions. He held the birds under the bird food store awning as it was raining. Still, a fun 2 hour program.

    This guy is actually a hybrid of a Peregrine Falcon and another, possibly foreign bird. Apparently, it is a good bit smaller than a full Peregrine.

    Wow Chris, These are wonderful! I like the Eastern Screech Owl the best, but there are all great!

    Thanks Bill. It was fun. You should check to see if there is a raptor rescue group near you. They do displays like this often.
