Ive been shooting raw for almost a year as of this december.Ive become cofortable with capture nx.it dose most everything im intrested in doing.basicly I prefere minimal adjustments and deplore :cool:over saturation of colors.
generly a bit of sharpening, curve adjustment maby some NR.If I NAIL EXPOSURE VERY LITTLE pp IS REQUIRED.
Ive started shooting fine jpeg recently and the one adjustment I find I miss is the ability to change WB when shooting in raw.is there any programs out there that allow WB adjustemt in raw or is that just no possable?

Adobe Camera Raw can edit white balance on JPG files, though it isn't performing exactly the same kind of editing that you expect from raw files. It will even store them in Adobe DNG format with the adjustments. That being said, you are editing an image with 8-bits of color depth. They will fall apart pretty quickly, even just white balance adjustments. Better off sticking with raw files and retaining as much information as possible. Shooting in JPG format throws all that data away right from the start and placing all your trust in the logic the camera uses to choose what is thrown away. Actions and batch processing make light work of generating JPG files when you want them for photo galleries, sharing on message boards, e-mailing with family and friends, etc.
