RC Cars - Dirt Track

  1. Man these little suckers are hard to shoot. Had fun but almost got hit a couple of times by flying cars : )

    Oh I bet those things are hard to catch. Looks like you did it pretty well, I have one of these tracks not too far down the road - I may have to give it a shot sometime.

    I can tell you that the D50 doesn't focus well on stuff coming towards the camera but does OK with stuff going away or from side to side. I took about 50 or so shots of stuff coming towards me and ended up with may 5-7 that were in focus. When cars whizzing by me it would usually pick up focus after they had gone by.     Nice job Dennis. There is a small sand pit at one of the local parks where they run these things. They sure are fun to watch and shoot. Here are some from my first time trying last summer(hope you don't mind me posting in your thread). I'm waiting for the weather to warm up so these guys start playing again.

    Dennis ...those first two are awesome...I would like to try that sometime.

    I will have to look for a track somewhere...I did model planes last summer
    for the first time...I will be going back the next time they have the spring
    open house !

    Toughest thing I have shot is an F15E Strike Eagle. yikessssss
    Took two days to get the shot I wanted...lolol
