Re: Actuations

Discussion in 'Nikon DX DSLR Forum' started by Catz, Aug 12, 2009.

  1. Can someone tell me how can I tell how many clicks I have on my D2X?

Is there a menu button that tells me this?

    Many thanks,

Use an EXIF viewer(Opanda, etc), at the bottom it gives a total number of actuations.

I'm not aware of a way to view total actuations in the camera's menu.

    That's because there isn't

  4. Hi Melissa.

If you're using a Mac, just open a JPEG OOC with preview.app, press CMD-I (Information) and select the "Nikon" tab. If shows the number of acutations there.

Just a precision, that works only since Leopard.

Well I know for a fact that my D60 doesn't have it but I wasn't SURE on the
D2X so I left myself some wiggle room in case I was incorrect:tongue:

  7. Hi Mattes...I use a PC. Wish I had a Mac. I heard a lot of good things about them.

  8. Thanks Messiah Khan and fiveoboyo1...I will give those two sites a try.
