Outstanding Vinh, especially 2 & 4. What camera, lighting lens etc please?

  3. Yes indeedy - these are wonderful! Would like to know what you used. Assume tripod but what lens? Thanks.

  4. How do you get so close without them flying off? Incredible DOF for the magnification.

  5. Hi Vinh, I like the second one the best, some of the others have dark undersides and shadows a second flash would fill that in nicely.

  6. Thanks for all your comments. I used D100 with 55mm f/2.8 micro attached TC-16A, TC-14B, and PK-13. All of them were hand held as I've never used tripod for macro photography.

  7. Just move the camera slowly, don't scare them They will stay a few seconds enough for you take a pic.

  8. Here is a pic of the combination.

This was taken with 55mm itself.

The magnification is about 4.5x with this combination.

  9. Very nice pictures. I've used a similar combination with my Sigma 70-200 and a few teleconvertors and extension tubes.

I couldn't handhold it though - very impressive

Have a great Christmas - close ups of Turkeys, Mince Pies..........
