Red-eyed Vireo

Discussion in 'Birds' started by Jose Suro, May 11, 2007.

  1. Hi All,

Not your typical "field guide" pretty image, God only knows there are a lot of them out there , but I really liked the light in this shot. This little bird eluded me all afternoon, spending all its time in thick cover (as you can see), but around 7:00pm, just a couple of minutes before sunset, it gave me this look and I took it. I was after that red eye and I think it showed well in this image. Used some fill flash to balance out the brightness. Hope you like something different!

    Thanks for looking!
