Red Headed Woodpecker

  2. Actually - believe it or not, I think this is a red-bellied woodpecker.

    I know it doesn't seem to make sense, given that glorious red head - but according my my field guides, that is his name.

    Oops - nevermind. I was, as Humphrey Bogart said in Casablanca, misinformed.

    Hey Gary,

    That is a mighty fine image of a Red-headed Woodpecker you have there. Look at those claws!

    Did you get a chance to try the sunny 22 rule or was the sun actually bright enough for that?
