A couple of captures from the other day taken from inside my car. This Red-tail Hawk always perches at the fringes of one of our local parks, got a few shots off him/her flying, this time as I was driving to another location I was scanning the tree line, and there it was on an overcast windy cold winter day, scanning the brush for a wandering rodent. I pulled to the side put on the hazards "emergency 😁" and started firing away as the passing traffic was wondering what this nut with the huge lens was doing 😁. D850 and Sigma 500mm f4 sport with TC 1.4X.
