The images have a kind of painterly look which is not very usual as people usually would like to see sharp feather details, but I like them the way they are. I also like the way you cropped the images.All very nice Glenn!

Thanks Binnur...I was at the minimum focus distance at 500mm, so even at f/8 the depth of field was relatively narrow.
they all need more light on the head/neck except maybe the last one (for my taste)
Thanks Randy...I appreciate the feedback. I will revisit these and see if I like them better with more exposure applied to the head/neck area.
