Wow - I use APS-C cameras, this is a good argument to stick with doing so...I just need the glass and shooting skill

That's a great point. I've said to tony-b more than a few times on our walks at various wetlands that it seems my favorite bird shots seem to be with the D500 and a long lens. I've been taking a Z50 out lately to prove it to myself, but certainly don't have anything nearly this perfect as evidence.

Thanks. I was out west in Eau Gallie looking for birds just before the stay at home order was issued. Dead end of the road at exit 183. It's kind of used as an illegal landfill, but you can walk out into the marsh. Potential, maybe.
